Who we are
Las Huertas Home Gardens is an award-winning and innovative agricultural initiative, developed by Creciendo Juntos in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock. Its mission is to empower local families while fostering a sustainable economy for the community.
Our sustainable process ensures:
• The use of non-genetically modified seeds
• Cultivation using organic and biological nutrients
• Responsible water usage, thanks to the implementation of techniques such as drip irrigation and fertigation.

“By aligning our efforts with the 12 Sustainable Development Goals established by the United Nations, our focus is to ensure food and economic security for the communities of Guanacaste.
The success of this project has been made possible thanks to the generous support of the “Fondo de Alivio Scheinberg” and the L360 family group. With their help, we have been able to assist 148 families in ensuring their food and economic security.”
